PCMF USA Renews its Partnership with Swim Strong Foundation in 2019

December 2018 - Swim Strong Foundation provides water safety and learn-to-swim programs to children and families in the New York City area, including those who are unable to afford payment due to cultural or economic barriers.
Students learn about water safety as it relates to different environments (pool, beach, rivers, lakes, etc.).  They learn to move with confidence in the water; learn floating and streamlining skills on stomach and back, learn proper breathing and swimming skills. Students who are able to swim 50 yards (via a demonstrated swim test) are deemed to have passed the basic skill level.

In 2018, thanks to the support of PCMF USA and other sponsors, Swim Strong was able to provide free swim lessons to over 200 at-risk students (ages 3-adult) whose families would otherwise not be able to afford to pay for classes. With the “Know Before You Go” presentations and Water Safety Awareness Week activities, Swim Strong reached an additional 300 students.

PCMF USA is proud to renew its support to Swim Strong Foundation in 2019!
