Terence Parkin Takes on the Mt. Kilimanjaro Challenge - 05.10 - 12.10 2014

The Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation was delighted to support Terence Parkin, one of its ambassadors, silver medallist in the 200 metre breaststroke at the 2000 Summer Olympic Games and two-time gold medallist at the 2005 Deaflympics, in the expedition which began Sunday, October 5th and ended on Sunday October 12th, 2014

Entitled "Kilimanjaro" named after the mythical mountain, the aim of this adventure is to raise funds for the St. Vincent School for the Deaf located in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Pushing the limits, to show courage and generosity, to excel oneself, such ideals are carried by this sporting commitment.

The Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation shares with Terence and other members of the team - Bianca, David and Winners - the same values and was honoured to assist them in succeeding in this initiative.
