With the support of PCMF USA, Florida Swim School will provide 16 weekly lessons to 8 children from local foster homes and orphanages.
Swim classes, including basic swimming and water safety skills, will take place in a group setting at Florida Swim School. Basic swimming skills include safe entry and exit; jump entry, submersion and return to the wall; back float; forward motion and roll over to a back float; continuous swimming, taking a breath when needed. Water safety skills include recognizing someone in distress; providing assistance to someone in distress; water safety rules.
